PERODUA DRIVES FORWARD WITH NEW LOOK KENARI
Car buyers in the
UK
are beginning to recognise the benefits of the mini MPV concept and there is
one model in particular that stands out from the crowd.
Perodua’s Kenari has recently been updated and its high standard
specification provides drivers with multiple features at minimum cost.
The 5-door Kenari has latest generation technology, a stylish exterior
and plenty of safety equipment. Its
affordable running costs and extensive interior space make it ideal for a wide
range of people including families or those on a budget.
Tim Slaughter, Managing
Director of Perodua
UK
, says: “We’re very excited about the
new look Kenari as it combines contemporary small car styling with the space and
versatility of a mini MPV.”
New look Kenari has several
subtle additions including a rear tailgate spoiler, two-tone bumpers, protective
side mouldings, a rear tailgate piano black trim and a stylish new interior.
The removal of the roof rails has given the vehicle a sleeker appearance
without compromising its high level of interior space. These
new features give Kenari a modern look which broadens the car’s market appeal
without detracting from its unique character.
Available in a range of metallic paint finishes at no extra cost the
Kenari looks particularly attractive in new colour Moondust grey, a dark silver
with an indigo tint.
The Kenari GX starts from an
astonishingly low £6,130 delivered* and includes safety features such as side
impact protection, driver & passenger airbags, seat belt pre-tensioners and
child safety locks. Accessibility is
of prime importance to most mini MPV drivers and the Kenari delivers with its
popular side-opening rear tailgate and individual folding/reclining rear seats.
Kenari also comes with power steering, central locking, electric front
windows and a high grade stereo radio CD/cassette: options the customer is often
expected to pay extra for.
New look Kenari has an advanced
engine immobiliser and a comprehensive consumer package which consists of a 2
year/24,000 mile warranty, 6 year anti-perforation guarantee and 1 year’s free
roadside assistance for added peace of mind.
In addition, Kenari also qualifies for group 3 insurance.
Kenari is also available with
automatic transmission, sharing the same high specification as the manual
version. Priced at £6,930
delivered**, not many other automatic mini MPVs can compete with the Kenari EZ
when it comes to value. Compact but
practical, Kenari is perfect for driving and parking in city conditions but can
also hold its own on the motorway due to its lively 1.0 litre, 3-cylinder, 12
valve engine.
